The number of persons in employment within Northern Ireland for March - May 2007 is estimated at 786,000. This represents an increase of 19,000 jobs over the quarter and 26,000 over the year. The working age employment rate is approximately 71.0%, an increase of 1.4% over the quarter and up by 1.6% from previous year.
